Business Unit Manager

The Business Unit Manager oversees the performance and day-to day operations of our feed mill activities at Riche Terre, while contributing to the development and execution of business objectives and growth plans.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the industrial strategyaligned with business growth objectives
  • Lead and oversee site operationsto ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production
  • Drive performance across production, maintenance, logistics, quality, and HSE
  • Ensure strong inventory control, asset reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Deliver the Business Unit P&L and financial performance targets
  • Translate market demand into operational plans in collaboration with commercial team
  • Support regional growth initiatives, particularly in aquafeed
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and feed safety standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiativesto optimize costs and efficiency
  • Develop and lead teams, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and engagement
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, environmental, and governance requirements
Qualification and Profile
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years’ experiencein an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of production and operations management
  • Proven leadership experience with team management responsibilities
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • In addition, you demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, including:
  • The ability to develop and grow teams, by coaching, mentoring, and creating opportunities for people to step outside their comfort zone and build capabilities
  • A strong results-driven mindset, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, define clear objectives, and ensure delivery through performance monitoring
